Wednesdays (10 weeks):

Intermediate Class + Conversation: 7:30PM to 8:45PM (Sep 15 to Nov 17, 2010)

Saturdays (10 weeks):

Beginners Class:10AM to 11AM (Sep 18 to Nov 20, 2010)

Intermediate Class: 11:30AM to 12:30 (Sep 18 to Nov 20, 2010)

Advanced Conversation Class: 12:30AM to 1:30PM (Sep 18 to Nov 20, 2010)

As you walk the streets of Astoria and see the many nationalities and hear languages it will come as no surprise to you that over 120 nationalities live in Astoria and 65% of our households speak a language other than English at home.

The English as a Second Language (ESL) ministry seeks to teach English to first generation immigrants in our neighborhood to help them acclimate to our culture and provide more opportunities for their life, education and work here in America.

This is a simple way that the church can show God's love in a tangible way. Matthew 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Ministry Purpose:

The English as a Second Language (ESL) ministry seeks to share the love of Jesus Christ as we teach English and help acculturate first generation immigrants in our neighborhood.
